Today we got to see our baby for the first time. This was very exciting and it was something that we had been eagerly looking forward to. The baby was .82 inches long and its heart was beating 174 times per minute. It blows me away that it is less than 1 inch long but its heart is beating almost 3 times faster than mine. It was amazing to see our little baby on the screen. Overall our first appointment was good and the Dr. confirmed the due date of August 6.
The first picture above is of the baby's profile. The second picture is a 3-D view where you can clearly see the baby's head, chest, arms, and legs.

Babies, babies, babies! Neil and I will have grandbaby birthdays in July, August, September and October. We are so excited! "G"
Oh my gosh..seeing the baby for the first time kind of validates the experience up until now..wait until he or she moves for the first time...it is a bit sci-fi but it is wonderful!
