Proof Positive

Today we got to see our baby for the first time. This was very exciting and it was something that we had been eagerly looking forward to. The baby was .82 inches long and its heart was beating 174 times per minute. It blows me away that it is less than 1 inch long but its heart is beating almost 3 times faster than mine. It was amazing to see our little baby on the screen. Overall our first appointment was good and the Dr. confirmed the due date of August 6.

We decided to start this blog shortly after finding out our big news--Robyn is pregnant! We had thought about starting once before, but this is now the perfect time so that we can keep our family and friends up to date with our lives during this exciting time.

We found out that Robyn was pregnant on November 29th. After taking the test in the morning we were both very excited, although Robyn was in a state of disbelief. Nick told Robyn that he smiled the entire drive to work that morning.
