Green Beans...Yum

I fed Taylor green beans last week and she liked them! Yay, one more green veggie that she likes...that now means that she likes more veggies than her father. I will continue to try to instill in her healthy eating habits (not that I'm always successful at it myself). I must say that Nick does eat more veggies now than when we first got married, so I am proud of him. As for the messy face, I was holding the camera with one hand whilst attempting to feed a hungry, aggressive baby with the other. And the thumb in the mouth is an annoying little thing she likes to do while in between bites.

Jackson does the same exact thing with his thumb - we assume it is his way of working on swallowing the food? It's cute but messy! Taylor is SO cute - love the bunny ears!!

Well, Grady does it too! It does make it very messy. I try to at least hold one hand during the feeding?! We're going to try green beans next week! Taylor is beautiful!

Hey Robyn,
Just checking in to say hey! Little Taylor is precious. My youngest is a tad younger than her- he was born October 8th. You look great and you have a beautiful family (Nick included)! I just started a blog and have you listed as a friend there, so feel free to do the same. It's: www.dunhamdiaries.blogspot.com.
Hugs to you!

Robin, Taylor is just gorgeous! I love seeing the photos of her trying new foods. We're doing the same thing with James right now, so it's fun to see someone else at the same stage. We tried peas for the first time today. He loved them!

Oh, and James does the same thumb thing. He's now doing it when he has the bottle nipple in his mouth too. It takes forever to eat. I usually make him eat with his hands in his lap and the highchair tray pulled up over them so he won't chew on his thumb. I think it's a teething thing. He's been doing it for months, but especially lately.

I can't imagine Taylor ever doing anything annoying!! I'm sure you have mom's upmost respect for getting Nick to eat his veggies!! :)

I love that Taylor sucks her thumb in between bites! Gabe did it ALL the time when he started eating, then he realized he didn't need it and completely stopped!! But, since our trip to Mobile, he's regressed....he's back to his old thumb-sucking ways!! My favorite is when he's eating avacado then he runs his hands through his hair!! YUM!! :)
